Responsibilities
- Design and create build plans for wind tunnel models.
- Identify and secure resources for building test properties.
- Execute build plans by coordinating the construction of test properties.
- Perform hand calculations and FEA for mechanical design justification.
- Assist in developing and validating airflow management features on test hardware.
- Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and fabricators to create and test models.
- Continuously innovate and improve processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Expertise in CAD software, preferably CATIA.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced product development environment.
- Proactive in improving processes and managing projects.
- Strong understanding of rapid prototyping methods.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
