Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize vehicle accessory components.
- Participate in prototype builds, component fabrication, testing, and validation.
- Own the design of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Conduct mechanical design analysis, including structural and tolerance analysis.
- Generate detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.
- Support the development of engineering and reliability test plans.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding design for manufacturing feedback.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA/3DX preferred).
- Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) tools (ANSYS preferred).
- Experience taking designs from concept to mass production.
- Basic understanding of electrical and thermal design fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
