Responsibilities
- Review product designs for manufacturing feasibility in vehicle assembly.
- Conduct Design for Manufacture (DFM) reviews of product, process, and tooling designs.
- Coordinate process testing and validation during development and product launch.
- Develop process documentation including Process Sheets and Quality Control Plans.
- Provide impact/cost analysis for design changes and assess manufacturing capabilities.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance quality and reduce costs.
- Design factory layout and balance manufacturing lines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience in a technology-based industry with automated assembly techniques.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and 2D/3D modeling software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks).
- Knowledge of automated equipment systems and tools.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and situations.
