Responsibilities
- Ideate concepts for manufacturing equipment and systems
- Develop specifications and manage the RFQ process
- Lead and manage vendors while coordinating project scope across various teams
- Validate and optimize manufacturing processes from prototypes to full production
- Transition products from low-volume prototypes to large-scale production
- Function as lead manufacturing engineer or project manager for new automated equipment
- Travel domestically and internationally as required
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering or relevant experience
- Experience in developing and implementing manufacturing processes for high-volume production
- Experience in deploying, qualifying, and validating processes in automated environments
- Proficiency in geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) and experimental design
- Familiarity with industrial engineering concepts like line balancing and OEE
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Physics, Materials, or equivalent experience
- Capability to manage projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams
