Responsibilities
- Identify production constraints in collaboration with manufacturing and production teams.
- Determine overall equipment effectiveness and improvement strategies with production engineering teams.
- Perform value-stream analysis using simulations.
- Ensure production line designs align with factory objectives in collaboration with external teams.
- Support decision-making on process layout using data analysis.
- Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Utilize Discrete Event Simulation software for analysis.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in detailed analysis for process layout and production line design.
- Familiarity with Discrete Event Simulation software like Flexsim and AnyLogic.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands.
- Experience with MOS/MES systems is a plus.
