Responsibilities
- Lead the development of tooling design to achieve process plans and GD&T strategy.
- Drive the improvement of project planning documents, including timelines and FMEA’s.
- Develop and introduce processes and equipment for prototype builds.
- Collaborate with vendors to create efficient production lines.
- Oversee the installation and ramp-up of high-volume production lines.
- Implement strategies to enhance quality and capacity of production lines.
- Utilize lean manufacturing practices to improve material flow and safety.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in developing and launching assembly processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with methodologies like DMAIC.
- Experience with modifying jigs, fixtures, and coordinating equipment installations.
- Proficient in AUTOCAD, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, and similar software.
- Detail-oriented with a proven track record in high-pressure environments.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and constraints.
