Responsibilities

  • Design and build prototypes and testing facilities from scratch.
  • Conduct analysis using reduced order thermal models and multi-physics simulations for hardware optimization.
  • Perform testing involving instrumentation, data acquisition, and processing for hardware/model validation.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team across all phases of thermal system development.
  • Implement thermal models and numerical solvers for vehicle diagnostics.
  • Drive forward vehicle performance and occupant comfort through innovative thermal solutions.
  • Participate in projects critical to the team's success and gain mentorship from experienced engineers.

Job Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in prototyping, testing, and data analysis for proof of concept.
  • Familiarity with firmware development is a bonus.
  • Experience in developing numerical models and experimental characterization of thermal/fluid systems.
  • Strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
  • Relevant project and research experience in thermal systems.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
