Responsibilities
- Design and build prototypes and testing facilities from scratch.
- Conduct analysis using reduced order thermal models and multi-physics simulations for hardware optimization.
- Instrumentation and data acquisition for hardware/model validation.
- Investigate new architectures and component designs.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers.
- Implement thermal models and numerical solvers.
- Develop controls and diagnostics for thermal systems.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in prototyping, facility building, testing, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with firmware development is a plus.
- Experience in developing numerical models and experimental characterization of thermal systems.
- Strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
- Relevant project and research experience in thermal/fluid/refrigerant systems.
- Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
