Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Safety Team on innovative safety solutions for electric vehicles.
- Design, release, and launch seat belt system components.
- Participate in the full design cycle of high-volume components, including CAD design and testing.
- Support the design and implementation of passive safety systems in new vehicles.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate components into final vehicle designs.
- Utilize data acquisition equipment and conduct data analysis related to safety systems.
- Engage in hands-on prototyping and electro-mechanical system integration tasks.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as 3Dx or Catia V5.
- Experience with data acquisition equipment and system design.
- Previous experience in safety or automotive engineering.
- Basic coding skills, particularly with Arduino or motor control projects.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work collaboratively with teams.
- Hands-on experience with tools and machine shop equipment.
