Responsibilities

  • Work on architecture and controls for per-joint level systems.
  • Improve simulator computation efficiency for CPU/GPU architectures.
  • Model joint mechanisms into rigid body trees.
  • Accurately model kinematic chains and design biped robots.
  • Test reinforcement learning control policies in both simulation and real environments.
  • Measure and match model and simulation outputs.
  • Design and support new mechanisms.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with control system development and modeling.
  • Knowledge of linear systems analysis and controller design.
  • Familiarity with electric propulsion, motion control systems, and heat transfer.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, and Matlab/Simulink.
  • Experience coding in a collaborative environment (GitHub).
  • Bonus skills in CAD software (CATIA, NX, Inventor, Solid Works, etc.).
