Responsibilities
- Develop control-oriented models of powertrain systems for analysis and estimation.
- Collaborate with Vehicle Dynamics Engineers to ensure effective sensing and actuation.
- Create and implement control algorithms to enhance system capability and flexibility.
- Develop estimation and monitoring algorithms for system safety and reliability.
- Work with Firmware/Integration Engineers to test and calibrate algorithms.
- Ensure algorithm stability and performance using software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) tools.
- Participate in cross-functional collaboration with various engineering teams.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Background in linear systems analysis, state-estimation, and control design.
- Basic understanding of electric drivetrains and chassis actuators.
- Proficiency with engineering tools like Matlab/Simulink/Python.
- Basic proficiency in software development using C/C++.
- Real-world experience with vehicle dynamics performance is preferred.
- Graduation date between August 2026 and May 2027.
