Responsibilities

  • Develop control-oriented models of powertrain systems for analysis and estimation.
  • Collaborate with Vehicle Dynamics Engineers to ensure effective sensing and actuation designs.
  • Develop and implement control algorithms to maximize system capability and flexibility.
  • Create estimation and monitoring algorithms to enhance system safety and reliability.
  • Work with Firmware/Integration Engineers to test and calibrate algorithms in simulations and vehicles.
  • Ensure algorithm stability and performance using SIL and HIL tools.
  • Build tools for visualization and simulation to streamline the controls development process.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or similar.
  • Background in first principles linear systems analysis and control design.
  • Basic understanding of electric drivetrains and chassis actuators.
  • Proficiency with engineering development tools like Matlab/Simulink/Python.
  • Basic proficiency with software development in C/C++.
  • Real-world experience with vehicle dynamics performance characteristics is preferred.
  • Graduation date between December 2026 – December 2027.
