Responsibilities
- Work on all aspects of the mechanical design process for Tesla vehicles.
- Contribute to projects in areas such as chassis engineering, drive systems, and vehicle dynamics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, external vendors, and suppliers.
- Participate in design, analysis, and prototyping of mechanical components.
- Create engineering drawings and utilize 3D CAD software.
- Maintain rigorous quality and cost-down targets in design solutions.
- Engage in extracurricular activities demonstrating interest in mechanical design engineering.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (CATIA is a plus).
- Experience in creating engineering drawings (GD&T experience is a plus).
- Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals.
- Eagerness to collaborate with other engineering teams.
- Detail-oriented and execution-focused mindset.
- Genuine curiosity about product design and operation.
