Responsibilities
- Participate in the mechanical design process for Tesla vehicles.
- Contribute to design, analysis, prototyping, and validation of components and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, external vendors, and suppliers.
- Work on various projects depending on team requirements.
- Develop creative solutions to meet quality and cost targets.
- Create engineering drawings and utilize 3D CAD software.
- Engage in extracurricular activities or projects related to mechanical design engineering.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software; CATIA proficiency is a plus.
- Experience in creating engineering drawings; GD&T experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated interest in mechanical design engineering through projects or activities.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work independently.
- Willingness to learn about product design and operation.
