Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, test, and launch new parts and processes for battery systems.
- Collaborate with full-time engineers on projects including high voltage conductors and cooling systems.
- Apply mechanical engineering principles to improve battery performance.
- Participate in hands-on engineering projects and team collaborations.
- Utilize computer-aided design software (CAD, NX, Fusion360, SolidWorks, CATIA).
- Engage in quality assurance and hardware testing for battery systems.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively within the team.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals (heat transfer, mechanics, etc.).
- Interest in high voltage battery systems and mass production environments.
- Proven hands-on engineering experience through projects or relevant activities.
- Strong technical communication skills.
- Genuine curiosity about product design and operation.
