Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians on additive manufacturing operations.
- Support the design and development of coating processes for products.
- Work on alloy development and failure analysis in metals and ceramics.
- Participate in materials testing and characterization.
- Assist in selecting fasteners and optimizing bolted joints.
- Design mechanical aspects related to high-pressure die casting.
- Engage in cross-functional teamwork to gather requirements for new designs.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Materials Science or a related field.
- Proficient in 3D CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks).
- Strong understanding of mechanical, thermal, electrical, and physical properties of materials.
- Familiarity with materials testing and characterization.
- Experience with coding (Python, Matlab) is a plus.
- Willingness to work on-site full-time for the duration of the internship.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
