Responsibilities
- Support hands-on operation of Additive Manufacturing machines and post-processing.
- Collaborate with tool design engineers to develop and optimize parts.
- Work on process development and validation for finishing/coating products.
- Engage in alloy development, failure analysis, and material characterization.
- Conduct materials level testing and characterization for various materials.
- Suggest and implement joining methods for fastener engineering.
- Design and enhance high-pressure die casting dies as a Mechanical Design Engineer intern.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Materials Science or a related field.
- Proficient in 3D CAD tools (CATIA, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Strong understanding of mechanical, thermal, electrical, and physical properties of materials.
- Experience with materials testing and characterization preferred.
- Familiarity with coding in Python and Matlab is a plus.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on-site.
- Willingness to promote health and safety in the workplace.
