Responsibilities

  • Support hands-on operation of Additive Manufacturing machines and post-processing.
  • Collaborate with tool design engineers to develop and optimize parts.
  • Work on process development and validation for finishing/coating products.
  • Engage in alloy development, failure analysis, and material characterization.
  • Conduct materials level testing and characterization for various materials.
  • Suggest and implement joining methods for fastener engineering.
  • Design and enhance high-pressure die casting dies as a Mechanical Design Engineer intern.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Materials Science or a related field.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD tools (CATIA, SolidWorks, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, thermal, electrical, and physical properties of materials.
  • Experience with materials testing and characterization preferred.
  • Familiarity with coding in Python and Matlab is a plus.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week on-site.
  • Willingness to promote health and safety in the workplace.
