Responsibilities
- Assist with critical component development and quality management at suppliers.
- Conduct failure analysis and lead statistical process control activities.
- Drive improvements using Lean methodologies and ensure supplier compliance.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams for effective communication.
- Evaluate design for manufacturing risks and lead internal program reviews for NPI projects.
- Develop data collection plans and conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) to identify performance issues.
- Manage and audit supplier planning and execution of manufacturing and quality processes.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience with GD&T, AutoCAD, Solid Works, CATIA, and MiniTab.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing principles and concepts.
- Previous experience in production control, project management, or process engineering.
- Knowledge of PPAP/APQP processes.
- Self-starter with a focus on improving processes and part quality.
- Software skills in MySQL, Tableau, and Excel; bonus for R and Python experience.
