Responsibilities
- Utilize work measurement to optimize factory and material flow processes.
- Develop layout and production line alternatives.
- Conduct work measurement studies for production equipment and human work.
- Analyze data to streamline processes and eliminate non-value-adding tasks.
- Conduct capacity studies and sensitivity analyses for line throughput improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering stakeholders on operational efficiency.
- Support layout and space readiness initiatives for new line installations.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing principles and their real-world application.
- High comfort level in a demanding work environment.
- Proficiency in MySQL, basic Excel, and flowcharting software; knowledge of CAD is a bonus.
- Previous experience in production control, material flow, or process engineering is preferred.
- Ability to conduct decision support through trade-off and scenario analysis.
- Strong analytical skills to identify factors impacting operational efficiency.
