Responsibilities
- Support fabrication of small scale electrode coatings.
- Document observations and present findings to technical audiences.
- Develop cell test plans to characterize initial cell performance and lifetime behavior.
- Analyze and report on testing results related to battery materials.
- Implement and develop new techniques for analyzing battery materials.
- Track test progress and manage test resources.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to optimize cell performance and identify degradation mechanisms.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field).
- Experience with battery electrode analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with degradation mechanisms of batteries.
- Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or similar data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of lithium-ion battery technology and electrochemistry.
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
