Responsibilities

  • Support fabrication of small scale electrode coatings.
  • Document observations and present findings to technical audiences.
  • Develop cell test plans to characterize initial cell performance and lifetime behavior.
  • Analyze and report on testing results related to battery materials.
  • Implement and develop new techniques for analyzing battery materials.
  • Track test progress and manage test resources.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to optimize cell performance and identify degradation mechanisms.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field).
  • Experience with battery electrode analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with degradation mechanisms of batteries.
  • Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or similar data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of lithium-ion battery technology and electrochemistry.
  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
