Responsibilities

  • Utilize numerical simulation tools to analyze vehicle structures and systems.
  • Support the Crash Structures Analysis team in evaluating vehicle safety during crash events.
  • Assist the Durability Analysis team in assessing product quality and longevity through structural analysis.
  • Engage with the Multiphysics team to simulate performance attributes related to thermal loads and water management.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to guide product design decisions.
  • Conduct analyses using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools.
  • Work independently and collaboratively on engineering problems.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Materials Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of structural mechanics and mechanical behavior of materials.
  • Experience with FEA tools (e.g., LS-Dyna, Abaqus, Ansys) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics and Thermal Modeling is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
