Responsibilities
- Utilize numerical simulation tools to analyze vehicle structures and systems.
- Support the Crash Structures Analysis team in evaluating vehicle safety during crash events.
- Assist the Durability Analysis team in assessing product quality and longevity through structural analysis.
- Engage with the Multiphysics team to simulate performance attributes related to thermal loads and water management.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to guide product design decisions.
- Conduct analyses using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools.
- Work independently and collaboratively on engineering problems.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of structural mechanics and mechanical behavior of materials.
- Experience with FEA tools (e.g., LS-Dyna, Abaqus, Ansys) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics and Thermal Modeling is advantageous.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
