Responsibilities
- Monitor product field performance and identify trending issues.
- Triage emerging trends and develop failure hypotheses using engineering principles.
- Coordinate with the Failure Analysis team to identify root causes of problems.
- Drive corrective actions in production/design/supplier/firmware based on hardware and mechanical engineering knowledge.
- Communicate field performance and gather buy-in from engineering leadership on improvement priorities.
- Provide feedback to design owners for continuous improvement in product performance and reliability.
- Participate in design reviews to mitigate risks associated with product performance and manufacturability.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in power electronics hardware design and testing.
- Experience navigating software/firmware tools to identify failure modes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to use tools and applications for data management and interpretation.
- Preferred experience with inverters, EV batteries, and DC Fast charging systems.
