Responsibilities
- Monitor product field performance and identify trending issues.
- Conduct detailed failure analysis to identify root causes of problems.
- Perform board-level, component, or system-level debugging to isolate faults.
- Drive corrective actions into production/design/supplier processes.
- Communicate field performance and gather buy-in from peers and leadership.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and preventive actions.
- Share lessons learned and provide feedback during design reviews.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in failure analysis within consumer electronics or automotive preferred.
- Experience with software/firmware tools for identifying failure modes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in PCBA level troubleshooting and debugging.
- Familiarity with programming languages and tools like Python, Minitab, or JMP.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
