Responsibilities
- Monitor product field performance and identify trending issues.
- Perform detailed failure analysis and root-cause identification.
- Drive corrective action implementation into production/design/supplier/Firmware.
- Communicate field performance and improvement priorities to engineering peers and leadership.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and preventive actions.
- Share lessons learned and provide feedback during design reviews.
- Optimize products and processes for performance and cost.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in a hands-on role such as Failure Analysis in consumer electronics or automotive.
- Experience with software/firmware tools for identifying failure modes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in PCBA level troubleshooting and debugging.
- Ability to manage and interpret data using tools and business systems.
- Familiarity with programming languages and tools like Python, Minitab, JMP is a plus.
