Responsibilities
- Drive issue resolution from root cause analysis to countermeasure implementation on electro-mechanical issues.
- Conduct detailed hands-on failure analysis using various analytical tools.
- Design and perform experiments to replicate field failures.
- Analyze field performance data to identify trends and prioritize issues.
- Provide feedback during design reviews to mitigate performance and reliability risks.
- Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and manufacturers to resolve identified failure causes.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships across teams and with external partners.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in failure analysis, quality, or service roles in consumer electronics or automotive.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (Python, Minitab, JMP).
- Experience in hands-on roles, such as Co-ops or student competitions, is a plus.
- Broad technical background with the ability to collaborate across various teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
