Responsibilities
- Drive issue resolution from root cause analysis to countermeasure implementation.
- Perform detailed hands-on failure analysis using various analytical tools and techniques.
- Design and conduct experiments to replicate field failures.
- Analyze and interpret field performance data to identify trending issues.
- Provide feedback during design reviews to mitigate risks related to product performance.
- Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and manufacturers to resolve identified failure causes.
- Monitor product performance and prioritize work based on failure severity and cost.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in Failure Analysis, Quality, or Service in consumer electronics or automotive.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with programming languages and tools such as Python, Minitab, or JMP.
- Participation in student competitions like Formula SAE or Baja SAE is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across teams.
- Broad technical background to work with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service teams.
