Responsibilities
- Responsible for all equipment and robotics-related activities in the shop.
- Collaborate with design, product excellence, and production operations to ensure high-quality parts production.
- Lead equipment upgrades focusing on serviceability and reliability.
- Optimize processes for automated lines and troubleshoot extended downtime issues.
- Drive equipment-related process improvements through detailed troubleshooting.
- Create training materials and documentation for equipment lifecycle management.
- Identify and procure critical service parts as needed.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of Professional Controls Engineering experience in an Automotive Manufacturing Environment.
- Experience with ACAD for developing electrical schematics.
- Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens S7) and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of robot programming (Kuka) and Schuler presses.
- Flexibility to work weekends and night shifts as required.
- Strong understanding of Mechatronics and integration with mechanical systems.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous process improvements.
