Equipment Engineer, Power Conversion System

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day coverage of production equipment for the Power Conversion System line.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, breakdowns, and production requests to minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and perform root cause analysis.
  • Own equipment health and uptime metrics, driving improvements in reliability.
  • Develop and maintain Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures and schedules.
  • Lead or support major repairs, rebuilds, and retrofits during downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to address equipment issues and implement design changes.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Experience with automated equipment, particularly robotic systems.
  • Familiarity with KUKA or similar robots is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and mechanical prints.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools for equipment design and layout.
  • Hands-on experience with testing systems is a plus.
