Engineering Program Manager

The Engineering Program Manager will lead the design and engineering of Tesla’s advanced infrastructure, ensuring alignment with aggressive program objectives while fostering collaboration across various engineering and construction teams.

• Lead the full design and engineering of Tesla facilities from concept through production launch.
• Gather and synthesize complex stakeholder requirements into actionable engineering scopes.
• Develop comprehensive engineering project plans and secure leadership alignment.
• Manage internal and external engineering teams and third-party consultant contracts.
• Execute high-quality engineering deliverables essential for procurement and construction.
• Identify and mitigate dependencies, risks, and gaps in engineering program schedules.
• Conduct cross-functional design reviews and manage engineering changes.

• Bachelor’s Degree in architecture, civil, mechanical, process/chemical, structural, or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams within Architectural/Engineering or design-build firms.
• Proven record in delivering engineering packages (IFB, IFP, IFC).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex topics clearly.
• Design-build and Pre-Construction Project Management experience is a plus.
• Full understanding of all engineering disciplines and ability to manage engineering resources.
• Experience leading engineering for complex infrastructure systems is a major plus.
