Responsibilities
- Identification and decomposition of reliability requirements.
- Performing reliability predictions on mechanical and electrical components.
- Conducting system-level reliability assessments.
- Designing reliability/life tests and reliability growth modeling.
- Collaborating with design engineers and operations engineers to drive improvements.
- Analyzing data to determine factors that drive reliability.
- Supporting initiatives to enhance design, test, and flight reliability.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in a reliability role within a design, operational, or manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in multiple technical fields including mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience with reliability/life test design and probabilistic risk analysis.
- Familiarity with tools like DOORS, CREO, and scripting languages such as VBA and Python.
