Responsibilities
- Design, build, and innovate new 3D printing techniques.
- Work across teams to implement improvements to current products.
- Evaluate current printer performance for areas of improvement.
- Design and execute experiments to inform improvements in software or hardware.
- Tackle complex and open-ended problems across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Question assumptions and back them up with data.
- Research autonomously and analyze data from experiments.
Job Requirements
- Experience with experiment design and data analysis.
- Understanding of programming and scientific computing, ideally Python or Matlab.
- Familiarity with mechanical design, mechatronics, CAD modeling, and hands-on prototyping.
- Previous work on a consumer product.
- Developed physics-based models of complex systems.
- A portfolio of previous engineering work/projects is required.
- Willingness to work in a multi-disciplinary environment.
