Responsibilities
- Prepare and instrument test samples, execute tests, and analyze results on power electronics and battery storage systems.
- Assist with testing at in-house and local contract laboratories.
- Support debugging of products and sub-systems.
- Assist in the build and testing of automated test equipment and peripherals.
- Rework prototypes and printed circuit board assemblies.
- Maintain laboratory operations and manage test assets.
- Carry out duties as defined by the engineers.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in an engineering development environment.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, especially in High Voltage/Power Electronics.
- Proficiency in soldering, electronics fabrication/prototyping, and mechanical fabrication/prototyping.
- Experience with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Preferred experience with 3D CAD and schematic capture.
