Responsibilities
- Support commissioning engineer throughout project life cycle (pre-design, design, construction, and start-up phase).
- Lead new installation inspection and ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.
- Produce as-built drawings markups for the design team.
- Install, terminate, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and components.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Prepare sketches showing the location of wiring and equipment.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality in all tasks.
Job Requirements
- Completion of electrician apprenticeship program.
- Knowledge of Lock-out-tag-out and isolating electrical hazards.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems up to 480VAC.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, multi-meters, and testing equipment.
- Ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Capability to work at heights of up to 80 ft and lift/carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others.
