Responsibilities
- Own complete start-to-finish development of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and validation teams on design.
- Debug various hardware interactions in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Document design requirements, calculations, and validation results.
- Rapidly iterate designs as requirements and features evolve.
- Design and validate circuits for Optimus joint controllers.
- Support industrialization and production activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Strong understanding of power conversion and electronic circuit design.
- Experience in PCB layout and circuit board design (Altium preferred).
- Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generators.
- Basic scripting/programming ability (MATLAB/Python preferred).
- Knowledge of control theory of power converters and embedded programming.
- Experience shipping high-volume PCBAs is preferred.
