Responsibilities
- Improve lab operations and processes.
- Plan staffing, equipment needs, and continuous improvement training.
- Design and implement automated and manual data collection processes.
- Provide applied metrology support to manufacturing and design areas.
- Analyze dimensional data to identify sources of problems.
- Monitor dimensional accuracy of drive unit and battery products.
- Develop and implement countermeasures to quality problems.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in quality, metrology, or design engineering.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to create datum strategies.
- Experience with CAD design software (CATIA required).
- Proficient with measurement tools for diagnostics.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to present solutions to complex problems.
