Responsibilities
- Lead controls commissioning for manufacturing lines and support troubleshooting of complex breakdowns.
- Implement process optimization using advanced and conventional technologies.
- Maintain and program state machines for complex processes.
- Oversee controls-related activities in production, supporting production and maintenance teams.
- Troubleshoot problems using complex electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Develop and maintain Ignition projects and gateways, including API calls and database connections.
- Implement and enforce safety standards in manufacturing equipment.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer or Applications Engineer in automation.
- Proficiency in PLCs and Safety PLCs.
- Expertise in Human Machine Interfaces (HMI/GUI).
- Familiarity with field bus networks and reading electrical prints.
- Strong skills in process integration and electromechanical systems.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and deliver results independently.
