Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement control systems for production facilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify problems and define control system requirements.
- Write and maintain documentation of control systems, including schematics and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in control systems, including debugging.
- Take ownership of assigned systems from design to operation, driving improvements.
- Lead initiatives for energy efficiency, sustainability, and reliability in the factory.
- Stay updated on control systems developments and best practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong programming knowledge of PLCs and HMIs, preferably with Siemens TIA Portal and SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with control system protocols such as Profinet, Modbus, and BACnet.
- Experience with programming languages like C++, Python, or Java.
- Knowledge of control systems and control theory in continuous processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
