Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of reliability methods and low voltage electronics to design test plans.
- Analyze field usage and environmental conditions to optimize testing methods.
- Facilitate design FMEA sessions to assess product risks and drive reliable design choices.
- Collaborate with various engineering teams to identify root causes of failures.
- Generate process validation test plans for suppliers and drive corrective actions.
- Provide reliability design guidelines and apply lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Remain proactive and manage parallel tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Systems Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience with low voltage electronic assemblies.
- Proficiency in understanding failure modes of low voltage systems.
- Strong experience in thermal and mechanical design.
- Knowledge of accelerated testing methods and statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with reliability software and failure analysis techniques.
- Proven ability to remain engaged and positive in challenging circumstances.
