Responsibilities
- Perform small laboratory-based liquid sodium development tests.
- Design and build the test apparatus for each experiment.
- Collaborate with the design organization to understand testing requirements.
- Document and deliver data to the responsible engineer.
- Analyze, interpret, and present results.
- Assist test engineers with larger tests as needed.
- Gain hands-on laboratory experience and improve communication skills.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
- Hands-on mechanical work experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software preferred.
- Previous laboratory experience preferred.
- Experience with data acquisition systems preferred.
- Ability to report laboratory test results graphically and numerically.
