Responsibilities
- Plans and coordinates the work of the MCRE design organization Discipline Managers.
- Ensures execution of MCRE project goals and objectives.
- Drives engineering talent management, training, and development.
- Develops staffing strategies for MCRE engineering.
- Acts as the hiring and recruiting point of contact for the engineering organization.
- Monitors and provides oversight of verification activities.
- Supports and improves the Systems Engineering approach to design activities.
Job Requirements
- PE License in Washington or ability to obtain one promptly.
- At least 10 years of experience in the nuclear industry with relevant educational background.
- At least 5 years in a supervisory role with project technical scope responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading design and configuration of nuclear power reactors.
- Experience with testing, verification, and validation activities for nuclear design.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Must possess a broad understanding of various engineering disciplines in nuclear power plant design.
