Responsibilities
- Participate in the installation and sequencing of machines and tools for production efficiency.
- Assist engineers in preparing engineering process documentation.
- Analyze manufacturing methods and suggest layouts to enhance productivity.
- Gather and analyze process information for statistical control and planning.
- Research design proposals for manufacturability and suggest modifications.
- Conduct periodic inspections of the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve engineering-related production issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET accredited).
- Knowledge of mechanical or industrial engineering principles.
- Familiarity with Solidworks or equivalent programs.
- Technical writing skills for documentation.
- Hands-on experience with CNC equipment preferred.
- Ability to read schematics and use AutoCAD or similar software.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
