Responsibilities
- Review contract documentation, technical specifications, and project drawings for compliance.
- Select and size equipment and components based on application and safety regulations.
- Perform engineering calculations for mechanical components and system sizing.
- Design mechanical equipment, assemblies, and structural integrations.
- Prepare technical specifications for mechanical and process system components.
- Review vendor submittals for compliance with specifications.
- Support project managers with technical input across execution phases.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- 1-3 years of engineering/design experience in heavy industrial equipment.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic system design.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
