Responsibilities
- Review contract documentation and project drawings for compliance.
- Select and size equipment and components based on various criteria.
- Perform engineering calculations for mechanical components and system sizing.
- Design mechanical equipment and process systems.
- Prepare technical specifications for mechanical, piping, and process system components.
- Review vendor submittals for compliance with specifications.
- Participate in site installation and commissioning activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- 1-3 years of engineering/design experience in heavy industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic system design.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Preferred experience with AutoCAD and Inventor or similar CAD tools.
