Responsibilities
- Derive requirements for electronics design from system specifications.
- Perform system design trades for hardware and software.
- Design digital electronics, including FPGA and microprocessors.
- Collaborate with development teams to refine requirements and interfaces.
- Create test plans, run tests, and debug hardware for product integration.
- Prepare and present design reviews to teams and customers.
- Release and maintain complete design documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- U.S. citizenship due to program requirements.
- Experience with digital electronics circuit design.
- Familiarity with FPGA tools (Xilinx/AMD or Lattice).
- Knowledge of PCB layout software (Siemens PADS, Altium Designer preferred).
- Understanding of system interfaces and protocols (I2C, CAN, etc.).
- BSEE degree or similar with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience using lab equipment like oscilloscopes.
