Responsibilities
- Derive requirements for electronics design tasks from system specifications and collaborate with customers.
- Perform system design trades relating to hardware and software.
- Design digital electronics, including digital video systems and FPGAs.
- Collaborate with development teams to refine requirements and interfaces.
- Generate schematics, layouts, BOMs, and design rules for PCB design.
- Conduct design verification, including creating test plans and debugging hardware.
- Prepare and present design reviews to teams and customers.
Job Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required due to program requirements.
- Experience with digital electronics circuit design and FPGA tools.
- Familiarity with PCB layout software and block diagram software.
- Knowledge of electronic sensors and system interfaces/protocols.
- Practical understanding of engineering and documentation processes.
- Experience managing outside design houses and cable design.
- BSEE degree or similar with 10+ years of related experience.
