Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Design Engineer will lead the development of complex circuit card assemblies for Teledyne Controls products, focusing on design, verification, and manufacturing support.

• Work on concurrent engineering teams and communicate effectively with technical team members and leadership.
• Assist in system-level/card-level/chip-level architectural definition.
• Prepare design concepts to lower costs and improve reliability.
• Conduct tests, experiments, and analyses for new products and improvements.
• Design, develop, and verify high-complexity analog & digital circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and FPGAs.
• Provide factory support, including troubleshooting in production and repair environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and apply continuous improvement methods.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school.
• 5+ years of experience in FPGA design/development and board-level design.
• Proficiency in EE design tools (OrCAD, ModelSim, PSpice).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with FPGA tools (Xilinx, Microsemi, Altera).
• Experience with avionics development and the ability to read engineering drawings.
• Strong analog circuit design and analysis skills.
