The Reliability Engineer at Teledyne Controls will serve as a technical lead in ensuring the reliability of aviation electronic products, focusing on performance monitoring, analysis, and improvement.
Responsibilities
- Track and assess product MTBUR and MTBF across datasets.
- Identify performance deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare reliability reports and technical presentations.
- Investigate field returns and document failed part conditions.
- Develop reliability predictions using industry-standard models.
- Prepare detailed FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, and Safety Hazard Analysis.
- Interface with cross-functional teams to assess failure severity and impact.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering with a focus on digital electronics.
- AA Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Must be a "US Person" due to access restrictions.
- Experience in reliability analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with failure investigation and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of reliability prediction models and FMEA.
- Ability to interface with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
