The Reliability Engineer at Teledyne Controls will serve as a technical lead in ensuring the reliability of aviation electronic products, focusing on performance monitoring, analysis, and improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Track and assess product MTBUR and MTBF across datasets.
  • Identify performance deviations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare reliability reports and technical presentations.
  • Investigate field returns and document failed part conditions.
  • Develop reliability predictions using industry-standard models.
  • Prepare detailed FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, and Safety Hazard Analysis.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to assess failure severity and impact.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering with a focus on digital electronics.
  • AA Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a "US Person" due to access restrictions.
  • Experience in reliability analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with failure investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of reliability prediction models and FMEA.
  • Ability to interface with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
