Responsibilities
- Design and build hardware systems for automotive and energy storage applications.
- Develop and optimize designs in 3D CAD software with associated CAE tools.
- Validate manufacturing, assembly, and service feasibility.
- Create designs interactively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Complete and release component designs and documentation, including 2D drawings.
- Integrate mechanical designs with high-voltage electrical systems.
- Develop DFMEA and DVP for mechanical designs.
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in motor design and thermal management.
- Strong 3D CAD skills and proficiency in a professional 3D CAD package.
- Understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent technical and interpersonal communication skills.
- Capacity to work independently and manage hardware projects.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Desired experience in automotive powertrain systems and product launch support.
