Responsibilities
- Identify, triage, and root-cause system-level issues impacting robotic fleets.
- Drive improvements in system reliability, availability, and performance.
- Define and monitor system performance guardrails tied to customer KPIs.
- Collaborate with field teams to debug and resolve production issues.
- Analyze robot logs and telemetry data to identify failure modes.
- Develop mechanisms for regression detection and performance monitoring.
- Document failure modes and contribute to improving system observability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in robotics, automation, or complex distributed systems engineering.
- Strong systems engineering mindset with hardware-software integration experience.
- Proficiency in data analysis and scripting (Python, SQL, or similar).
- Familiarity with Linux environments and version control systems (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across system boundaries.
- Experience in Agile development environments.
