Responsibilities
- Support distribution channels by answering technical product and application questions.
- Review inquiries to understand project goals, customer needs, and specifications for quote strategy.
- Prepare technical proposals with data sheets, performance curves, and auxiliary systems.
- Collaborate with internal departments in the development of quotations and proposals.
- Provide technical support during proposal discussions and modify proposals as needed.
- Transfer project data to project management after order receipt and participate in handoff meetings.
- Analyze and recommend improvements based on cost-benefit analysis.
Job Requirements
- Current enrollment in an engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Mechanical training and aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Flexibility to manage multiple projects at varying stages.
- Experience with programming languages (C+, Python, VBA, HTML, etc.) is desired.
- Knowledge of pumps and compressors is a plus.
