Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components.
- Coordinate between the machine shop, quotation department, and customers.
- Assist in developing accurate workscope during inspections.
- Document design changes and create drawings using CAD software.
- Perform precise measurements with micrometers and calipers.
- Engage in on-the-job training and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Ensure effective communication with customers regarding mechanical repairs.
Job Requirements
- Preferred 3 years of experience in rotating equipment repairs or related fields.
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoDesk or Solidworks).
- Knowledge of rolling element bearings, sleeve babbitt bearings, and oil seals.
- Familiarity with vibration analysis and interpretation of vibration spectrums.
- Ability to perform alignment and understand seal and bearing clearances.
- Self-motivated with a readiness for on-the-job training.
- Strong responsibility and time management skills.
