Responsibilities
- Establish conceptual process layout with equipment & tooling requirements.
- Provide input to the Design Engineer to reduce tooling, equipment & manufacturing cost.
- Support supervisor in developing project plan, budget, and schedule.
- Establish tooling and equipment specifications for quoting & manufacturing.
- Source and select vendors for tooling & equipment.
- Supply production department with tooling and equipment for reliable manufacturing.
- Work with design engineers to optimize designs during product development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years of related product development experience.
- Proficient in using SOLIDWORKS.
- Knowledge of common manufacturing processes (e.g., welding, CNC).
- Experience with Automated assembly & test systems is a plus.
- Excellent oral/written communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to Mexico for project installations.
