Responsibilities
- Designing and developing products for the automotive market.
- Researching and applying new design & manufacturing concepts.
- Self-educating on product-related technologies to function as a subject matter expert.
- Completing Bill of Materials and detailed component & assembly drawings.
- Evaluating and approving components and final assemblies.
- Communicating effectively with outside vendors.
- Establishing product test specifications and validation requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years of related product development experience.
- Proficient in using SOLIDWORKS.
- Knowledge of automotive sensors and actuators, DFMA, PCB design, and materials.
- Excellent oral/written communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and PC skills.
