Responsibilities
- Interface with production, inspection, shipping/receiving, and engineering teams to develop quality signals and processes.
- Maintain quality processes to manage nonconforming materials and components.
- Coordinate containment actions related to non-conforming products and root cause analysis.
- Identify opportunities for risk reduction and improve manufacturability in designs and processes.
- Track yield and test/inspection escapes, incorporating lessons learned into new product introductions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product reliability and address non-conformances.
- Lead projects and drive accountability within teams to meet reliability goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
- 1+ years of experience in quality systems, quality assurance/control, or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9000, and/or Nadcap AC7004.
- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of quality tools (e.g., Lean principles, Six Sigma).
- Ability to communicate effectively and operate autonomously.
- Experience with high volume manufacturing and supplier quality processes.
- Willingness to travel up to 60-75% and work flexible hours as needed.
