Responsibilities
- Interface with Production operations, Inspection, Shipping/Receiving, and Engineering teams to develop quality signals and processes.
- Maintain quality processes to control nonconforming materials and components.
- Coordinate actions for non-conforming products and perform root cause analysis.
- Identify opportunities for risk reduction and improve manufacturability.
- Track yield, test/inspection escapes, and incorporate lessons learned into new product introduction (NPI).
- Build relationships with cross-functional teams to address reliability and process gaps.
- Lead projects and drive accountability across teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
- 1+ years of experience in quality systems, quality assurance/control, or manufacturing/production.
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9000, and/or Nadcap AC7004.
- Preferred: Master's degree in engineering or supply chain.
- Strong written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate autonomously and self-direct.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as Lean principles and Six Sigma.
