Responsibilities
- Develop automation to deploy and manage on-premise compute resources
- Deploy and manage core infrastructure such as databases, monitoring, and distributed storage
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to create scalable and maintainable products
- Improve the entire lifecycle of hardware from inception to retirement
- Invent tools and processes for efficient development and deployment systems
- Integrate and troubleshoot across the entire Starshield stack
- Manage core infrastructure such as databases and software libraries
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience with Linux operating systems
- Experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python
- Development experience in Python, Go, C++, or C
- Strong networking knowledge of TCP/IP and understanding of operating systems and virtualization
