Responsibilities
- Develop automation to deploy and manage on-premise compute resources
- Deploy and manage core infrastructure such as databases, monitoring, and distributed storage
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to create scalable and maintainable products
- Engage in the entire lifecycle of hardware, from design to retirement
- Invent tools and processes for efficient development and deployment systems
- Perform hands-on integration and troubleshooting across the Starshield stack
- Identify improvement areas and create innovative solutions for high developer velocity
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience with Linux operating systems
- Experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- Development experience in languages like Python, Go, C++, or C
- Strong understanding of operating systems and virtualization technologies
