Responsibilities
- Generate and improve CAD, engineering drawings, analysis, component specifications, and risk assessments.
- Spearhead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for hardware issues.
- Develop reliable flow control devices and optimize component deliveries.
- Implement thorough component testing and checkouts across multiple sites.
- Set standards for component design and qualification testing for vehicle programs.
- Partner with supply chain, manufacturing, and testing teams to achieve high reliability and yield.
- Coordinate team efforts and inform system-level architecture for program goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or physics.
- 1+ years of experience in designing and analyzing mechanical systems.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Leadership project management skills and effective communication.
- Master's degree or additional professional experience in mechanical or aerospace engineering preferred.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical systems and understanding of fluid systems.
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical devices and related components.
